Cell Phone Stand For Desk
i got my phone wet and im very worried????????? please help me!?
i was going to the bathroom and i stood up…my cell phone was im my pocket and it slipped out and fell into the toilet. i grabbed it out really quick and told my mom… we dried off, took out the battery and wiped inside it, we put it in a bag of rice, and put it under my desk lamp. we will leave it like that for 2 days…im still really worried… i cant live without my cell phone andi cant get a new one because my contract isn’t up for another year. i was wondering if there is anything else i can do to help it work again or if anyone has any advice i would appreciate it. i am really stressed out and i need help!!!! thanks so much!

The same happened to me. I dropped mine in my bathtub and took out the battery and left it in rice for days. I frequently changed the rice since it absorded the water and didnt want my phone in wet rice. My LG Touch works like new right now and has been for months.
However, it your phone is completly dead from the water, you could cancel your contract (though its a hundred dollars or so) and then sign a new contract. When you sign the new contract, you get a free phone or phones heavily discounted.
