How can I use my cell phone (LG VX8550 – Chocolate) as a modem for my Laptop? Both have bluetooth capabilities
I bought a new cell phone (LG VX8550 Chocolate) and a new laptop, both which are blue tooth capable.
I’m new to the whole bluetooth thing, how can I access the internet on my laptop using my cell phone?
What additional charges may occur on my cell phone bill (Verizon).

You need a data-cable, the software, and the availability of the service. I have an older cellphone with a dataport, Verizon service, and the
data-cable and software that comes with the MobilOffice kit. For a couple of years this was my only internet connection, and while slow, it was free on nights and weekends.
Check with your service provider if they offer this service, and if so, you`ll need to buy the data-cable and software kit to use your cellphone as a modem.
