Cell Phone Battery Backup
I missed first 2 days of Birth Control…..?
The new pack should have started Friday, but I hadn’t checked my cell phone battery for a few days and it was dead so my alarm didn’t go off. I recharged the phone Sunday and so that’s when the alarm went off and I realized I should have started a new pack. The slip said in the event that you miss 2 pills in Week 1 or 2, to take 2 when you remember, and 2 again the next day at the regular time and use a backup method for 7 days. So i took 2 last night and will take 2 tonight. A backup method isn’t a problem now, but Saturday and Sunday morning my boyfriend and I did have sex without a barrier method. Should I use a back-up for just 7 days or the whole month? Is the risk increased because I missed directly after taking a week of inactive pills? Also, how long after possible conception would a.) at home, and b.) clinic pregnancy test be effective?
I would call your OBGYN now and ask there advice I have missed up to four pills in a row and used NO back up methods and still didn’t get pregnant but ever woman is different so I would call your doctor to be on the safe side because if you are pregnant taking those birth control pills can be very harm full to the baby hope this helps you
